Small bug, but was causing me big problems because my computer is always powered off at 3:00am.
Changing EPG Update time in the Config app doesn't "take". I couldn't make it remember anything from 3:00am. I went into config.xml and changed the UpdateEPGHour setting, that apparently stuck.
WOW! What a great program. Â I have been reading these forums for a few weeks and I finally got my PVR-350 today. Â Everything is working great so far, but I have a question...
Can I use the web interface in another machine? Â I have enabled the web interface (with the default port), and it works fine on my PVR machine, but I have tried to hit it on 2 other PCs on my home network and I get a "Cannot Find Server" error. Â I have loaded IIS on my PVR machine (just in case). Â The PVR machine is running WinXP SP2 (firewall disabled) and I have granted Everyone access to the C$ share. Â Is there a share I need to setup on the PVR machine?
Also, I made sure that I replaced "localhost" with the and IP address of the PVR machine (192.168.0.109)
Question 1: I have installed the latest version of GBPVR (.227). I also have also installed daemon-tools and set it up to mount on the Z drive. I have configured GBPVR to use the Z drive for playing ISO files. When I browse in the Video Library and locate an ISO file and select play, GBPVR on my monitor changes to the black screen and says playing video on tv (can't remember for sure as I am at work now) but the TTV still shows the the video library with the ISO file selected.
It appears that the daemontools is working correctly on the computer monitor cause it pops up the Auto Play asking for me to choose...
What have I missed in the setup to get this to play on the TV. I have looked in daemon-tools for a way to turn off autoplay for the virtual drive.
Question 2:
After reading some of the posts (since ver .20 I think) it appears that there is now suppose to be a DVD button on the GBPVR main menu. I noticed in the config that there was a check box to show DVD and I did select this, but I do not see a DVD button on the main menu. What have I missed in the setup for this one...
I was wondering if there is a full description somewhere (and if not could someone write one) of how to setup the web interface so I can schedule show recordings remotely. Obviously a lot of people use it, but I'm not sure what (if anything) I need to do to set it up.
I have a hauppauge pvr250 connected to 2 MediaMVP's. programming recordings, plugins and live-tv works fine. When i play a recording however the mediamvp (or gbpvr ?) stops responding to the remotecontrol. When I install/use any version of the hauppauge mediamvp software then everything keeps working fine. I have installed only the pvr250 drivers (latest version) No wintv of whatsoever. What can i do to solve this problem?
I'd like to see the ability to send the "GB-PVR MediaMVP Server" task to the system tray. Since you can't really do anything with it, it just takes up room on the taskbar.
Not a big deal, but will make the program a bit tidier.
Hi, I've seen some screenshots of your program and it seems to be the one of the bests programs to watch tv but unfortunately I can't try it because I have video card with BT878 chipset
Do you plan to support BT848/878 chipset hardware near future in yours program?
since version 0.227 net radion doesn't work for me anymore - I know it works for sub and others, so I would like to ask whether anybody has lately experienced a problem with it.
I tried to find whether it's a firewall issue. I have no firewall on the gbpvr-box, only on the computer which I use as router. It's ezFirewall 4.5, the Windows-firewall (XP SP2) is switched off on both computers. In any security-degree setting, including completely quitting the firewall-programme net radio doesn't work for me.
Anybody got the same, or has an idea what I could do?
