I used to have two HDPVR devices connected to set-top boxes and I merge the channels from both devices on nextpvr.
Now I changed this setup to two devices that generate for me an ts stream. One is on my network with an 192.168.1.6 ip and the other is 192.168.1.7 ip.
I setup both under the IPTV and everything is working as expected.
The only problem that I have is that I cannot merge the channels.
This option is not working for iptv.
I have two channels with the same name but with different ips.
Why the merge is important for me on the iptv.
I use and exe to change the channel in the set-top boxes.
So if one device is recording I want the nextpvr to use the other stream and only change the channel for this device.
...however to save bandwidth I capture 16:9 as 480p anamorphic. So an option to stretch the video similar to what Kodi does would be great. Btw the NextPVR plugin works great for MrMC on iOS but my preference would be to use the your app directly. Thanks for all your hard work.
I am using version 4.2.2 and epg for iptv to populate the epg info. Every entry shows as new or prem which of course is messing with recordings. Is there a setting or something i may be missing in nextpvr that would be causing this?

Thanks for this lovely program. I'm reporting two separate problems.
1. No playback of video, but then if you exit and ask for it to play again it works
NPVR.log shows this. At 8:34:57 I ask for it to be played. It does not play, I left it in a long time in this state from 35:00..37:59. I then hit escape, you can see lots of log output at this time.
I then replayed it at 38:59 and it works.
This happens a lot with my recordings. This was a HD recording.
I have the HD file - how can I get such a large file to you?
2. Ndigital host file problem. I noticed the EPG was not being updated. Looking at the file i'm seeing exceptions:

Once it got into this state it never recovered, day by day. It was happy on the first part of June 28th, then crashed at 12:07:43 first time. Then onwards, june 29 etc, constant crashing.
I've no idea if you could do this.. But a warning in NPVR EPG screen when the EPG update is on and no fresh data has been received for say X days would be useful.
I have 2 machines that run an Emby server. One talks to WMC via ServerWMC - the other talks via NextPVR.
I have a variety of clients that can connect to either server. Until recently all combinations worked nicely.
Now, (I think since upgrading to NPVD 4.2), my IOS clients, ipad (IOS 9.3.5) & iphone (IOS 10.3), both crash when I try and stream live TV via Emby. The video appears for possibly a single frame, then the app disappears. Recorded TV and other video streams fine. Other clients (Chrome browser & Samsung smart TV) stream fine.
All combinations continue to work when I connect to the ServerWMC machine.
I'm running Windows 10 and latest NPVR 4.2.2. NPVR by the way, works really well - massive kudos to the developer(s)!!
The only (small) issue I have is if I leave my laptop lid down after hibernation, and if I have a recording scheduled, the recording does not start until I open the lid.
It appears that the computer wakes up from hibernate but until I open the lid, the recording will not start. I try to remember not to close the lid and everything is ok, but occasionally I do close the laptop lid (force of habit )
I have set the power options on my laptop to do nothing when the lid is closed - I have it set to hibernate when I press the power button.
As I said, if the lid is left up, there are no issues at all.
Does anyone know of a solution or is it maybe a BIOS issue???? (apart from keeping the lid up :p)
I'm doing some skin modifications of Estuary for Kodi 18 alpha 2, and I noticed that there seems to be a place in the PVR window variables for a TV Show Episode title that is blank. It looks like the NPVR PVR addon is delivering the episode title as part of the description (which is consistent with what I see in Kodi 17). I know the dev/build process for the PVR addons is a real pain, but I thought I'd go ahead and ask what it might take to deliver the Episode Title to where ever Kodi is expecting it to be to show in Estuary in the "correct" place.
Is there a way to have an extra local xmltv file on the drop down of the bulk map source column. I am thinking i leave the providers xmltv when i set up the channels but for some i would like to use a local file.

Hi I have two computers. Both running windows 10 Pro X64. Both have the same processor and motherboard.
Both was working on V3.9.2 OK.
I upgraded one to V4.2.2 and it no longer works or sees the Guide info.
Now the WORKING V3.9.2 system's user account is on drive C:\user\myname\
it contains:
1 ea Hauppauge WinTv 885 ATSC Tuner/Demod (Quad tuners)
2 ea Hauppauge WinTV 7164 Tuner/Demod for a total of 8 tuners using all 3 boards.
The EPG folder is on Drive D:\EPG

I wish I could get the channel mapping info from the working system to the non-working system, as the channel mapping is now screwed up.
What am I missing on this system to make it see and use the XMLTV data for the quide.
Is there any file I can copy over from the working system to the non-working system to get it going?
At this point, I really am very reluctant to upgrade the V3.9.2 system to V4.2.2
