I am running Kodi 17.6 on a Lenovo mini tower computer with tons of memory and storage space. I have installed NextPVR (the latest version) and imported channels from Epicstream IPTV links. It imports more than 2600 channels, but in the Guide in NPVR, it only shows 672 channels. However, the missing channels I can find behind the ON Demand menu item and they appear to work.
My issue is that these missing channels are not showing up in Kodi when I configure NPVR in Kodi.
I am probably missing something but I could not find another post related to this, so please help. Thank you.
Has anyone successfully configured an Nginx reverse proxy in front of the NextPVR web interface? Would you be willing to share your configuration? I'd even take a successful Apache config.
I have configured Nginx reverse proxies in front of many web services - even difficult ones. For the life of me, I can't get this to work.
The Android app randomly skips back by 5-10min and then replays the segment again when watching live tv. It might get past the original place or before, but it always skips back to the same place and constantly loops.
It doesn't do it on the Windows app and I have tried it on various streams and channels.
I'm having an issue while trying to watch this BBC channel - sometimes I'm getting a warning that I have no AC3 decoder configured (I have LAV configured).
On this channel I don't get any audio unless I select the second audio track. It appears that track 1 is silent, which seems very strange.
I have a small (hopefully soon to be growing) collection of DVDs, both movies and tv series. I have copied most if not all to my PVR on a drive specifically for them, IE separate from the drive I record to. All are m4v files. However most of the DVDs in my collection are partial TV series. There are very few TV series sets that I have that are complete. The drive I have them on will be upgraded at a later date, it is about half full as of now.
What I would like to do is to be able to import these files into the play list and view all the meta data, IE season number, episode number, description etc and play them out of the play list just like I do a program that was recorded. I only want to important the series that are complete if there is no way of important everything without avoiding duplicates. In other words lets say I have the complete collection of A, B, and C and only part of the collection for D, E, and F. I would like to import everything from A through F, only if I can avoid duplicates in the future of D, E, and F. If duplicates cannot be avoided then I only want to import A, B and C and will import D, E, and F when they are complete.
I don't mind manually creating the xml files to import the videos if I have to, but wouldn't mind a reliable automated way either that won't create more work then if I had done everything manually in the first place.
Has anybody done anything like this?
If so, how?
How was your experience doing this?
Any tips you could provide?
I hope I was able to clearly explain what I want to do.
An option to delete multiple recordings at once, instead of having to delete each one individually.
An option to play the next recording for continual viewing with out have to manually start another. I realize this is probably can't be done to start watching program b after program a is done, but it would be nice to have an option to start watching program a episode 2 after watching program a episode 1.
An option to write protect or protect from deletion a program that is wished to be kept.
An option to update the program from with in the program or to automatically update. If this already exist I haven't been able to find it
I am getting the error "Nextpvr Tuner Client Lost" after new oreo update on the nvidia shield tv. It will play live tv for about a minute then give the error. All of my other devices (fire Tvs and Computers) are working fine. I have done a full reset and new kodi install on the shield and it has not changed. It does it both over wifi and ethernet. Here is the link to my log for Kodi when this started occurring. Attached is my most current log for NextPVR
So I installed a BT v4 USB adapter on our NPVR PC so I could use my new BT headphones to watch recordings and movies. I installed the software that came with it called CSR Harmony Wireless Software Stack and that worked fine, identifying my headphones after a reboot. I then realized NPVR was not running, so I launched it and it crashed. I tried removing the headphone pairing, removing dongle, rebooting, still crashed. Just to see if the BT was working I launched Kodi and that crashed too. I tried VLC which also crashed, but noted COM Surrogate was the problem. I then uninstalled the CSR software, but both NPVR and Kodi still crash while VLC would launch and run.
During the first reboot there were a couple Windoze updates that applied. I guess those could be suspect also, but I'm more inclined to believe it was the CSR software.
I was due to update, so I did install NPVRSetup_4_2_2_180623, but no change.
NPVR logs attached. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Hello all,
Recently I am not able to communicate with the NEXTPVR server from the client with win 10. I have done nothing with my network settings. I have noticed that I am running 4.2.1 on the server and 4.2.2 on the client. Could this be the reason? If so How do I update the server with out having to reinstall all my settings on the server?
Please advise.
Thank you,
Bruce
