I had to reinstall NPVR after my Win7 x86 system crashed. I thought that I would jump to Win10 so I did a clean install of Win10 (the new board only supports 2 PCI, sadly) and updated it, then installed NPVR (v3.7.7). The two tuner DTV cards were recognised (however only 23 channels from 3 of 5 stations). I downloaded the EPG XML then tried to change Channels setting of EPG from the default DVB/ATSC to the XML when I got a crash message (attached, text of error below). This happens every time I try to change anything about XML EPG. Changing it back to DVB/ATSC makes it happy again. Logs attached. Any ideas?

Hi, I have just upgraded my Toshiba Qosmio PC to Windows 10. I previously used Media Centre and was able to watch local television stations on the computer as the computer has a built in tuner. I have loaded Nextpvr and Kobi to be able to do the same as before. When I ask Nextpvr to detect devices nothing comes up. Can anyone suggest what Ineed to do. Thanks
Hi, i'm on a Win7 64Bit machine with a Kodi & NextPVR installation.
Since some time (i can't pinpoint the exact time when it started), i have the problem,
that the machine doesn't stop the Live-tv Stream and buffers and buffers, even if Kodi was closed hours ago.
And because NextPvr thinks that Live TV should be still streaming the pc won't sleep.
As far as i remeber, i stopped the live tv everytime through the stop button on the remote
and then let the pc stand for a later programmed recording.
I have three logs which i will add down below.
Sorry that i can't reproduce the problem exactly.
If you have any tipps or questions feel free to ask, i will try to answer them.
I started using NextPVR because the free upgrade of Windows 10 that ends end of the month and when I upgrade WMC goes away. Yeah I know I can still install it but I like the idea of a supported product.
Frankly I am glad I am being forced over to NextPVR. I really like what I see. Yeah a couple of rough spots here and there but I am confident I will eventfully get a solution. But over all I am really liking NextPVR over WMC.
So my question. Should go go through with the Windows upgrade? Should I anticipate any issues with NextPVR? Maybe some codecs not getting installed?
Lets say I have a show I want to schedule called Criminal Minds. I know I can schedule it twice and it will only record once as long as I have the recording settings set for that. But can I schedule it twice. Say once for new shows. And once for all shows. Give the NEW shows a high priority and the ALL shows a lower priority. Will the NEW Criminal Minds shows still record given its priority is higher than any conflicting show but the conflicting show has a higher priority than the ALL Criminal Minds schedule?
Hopefully I have explained that well enough.
If NPVR can be scheduled that way then it is a very cool feature.
I have a two tuner card. I see lots of conflicts. When I try to resolve, I see only two shows. One with Don't Record next to it. The other with Cancel next to it.
I would assume the one with cancel is the one that will be recorded?
But why are these conflicts? To be a conflict should not I see 3 shows listed?
P.S. The channel listing for one of my tuners was not complete. I fixed that yesterday. Could it be the conflict was because the shows were scheduled before the turner was fixed? Do I need to reschedule all of my recordings? Or is there some other way to resolve the issue?
I am getting a crash when deleting recordings. After things recover from the crash, "Failed" shows in the recording list and I do not seem to have access to that tuner until I reboot.
All my NextPVR recordings are compressed to MP4 using MCEBuddy, and than placed in a nested folder structure for the Video submenu of NextPVR.
Does the iOS client support streaming from MP4 files from this folder?
