Hi - in the web interface (newa), the cancel recording option for the programme being recorded does not cancel the recording. The slot is still showing as recording in the Nextpvr client.
Schedules direct (OTA USA listings) is not showing any program data. The menu only shows "no details" in all of the program listing cells. I have attempted to update manually without luck. I have uninstalled NextPVR competely and reinstalled it. No change. My Schedules direct account is current and is working correctly on another installation of NextPVR in my home.
Maybe its just my fat fingers, but I've done this twice now since I had the Rii remote with Kodi.
What happens is I play a show (say from Videos) which has a directory with a list of videos in it.
After viewing I then arrow up to get the delete menu; press enter, then OK and it deletes.
But if I leave my finger pressing Enter, it deletes 4 or 5 shows double quick time "poof gone"; Recuva got them back luckily (absent a Recycle Bin in NPVR) but is there a possibility of a setting which would only allow you to delete one, then make you go through the cycle again? I think it;s because up arrow puts you in the delete menu, but it leaves that menu open. I don't know another way to invoke the menu.

I am a noobie so I tried to follow the FAQ from top to bottom and searched the forums for this issue. I am in NA with OTA ATSC and Silicon Dust tuners and after following various instructions almost everything seems to be working except the EPG. At first I used the DVB/ATSC listings and I received just three hours of information after which it wouldn't load any more, even after time had past the end of what it previously loaded. I switched to Schedules Direct and followed the YouTube instructions but still not EPG. I do notice that in the video the last two steps are "Saving EPG Listings" and "Updating Recording Schedule" whereas I get "Checking for DVB/ATSC listings".
I also notice that under Misc2 there is "TV Guide Minutes" option that is defaulted to 180, I assume this is the amount visible not the amount loaded.
If I missed something that's already out there please point me to it. Other than this I really like the product, not too many dials and swicthed to play with to get it working.
Here's an interesting one, maybe it's something simple... I've been happily using Nextpvr for years, and have been recording content on the tuners in my signature below without problems. Haven't been watching much lately as been busy with kids etc and have just started getting back to clearing a backlog of shows recorded on the DVB-S tuner. And I've discovered that something happened between the 4th and the 11th of March and now the .ts recordings are all glitchy and unwatchable. I know it's between these dates as regular shows recorded on the 4th or before are fine, and from the 11th on are not good. I've done some testing and narrowed it down to the DVB-S tuner, and it shows the error repeatedly, as well as during live TV using this tuner.
Any ideas what could be causing this??
(I know I'm still running an old version of NPVR, but it was working fine up until March!)
My log files are fairly large - is there a specific file that would help with diagnosis - let me know.
Well, I don't know enough about this program, but all of a sudden the EPG started to leave out groups of channels. First it was about 30, then it was 20 then the EPG just stopped all together.
I tried everything I could think of, even reinstalling but of course this program has hidden files somewhere.
Well after 9 hours I am now getting a message I exceeded my limit for EPG lineups or something like that. I WAS recording 60 shows a week with zero issues, then it just blows up.
I need to blow away my installation, ALL OF IT, so I can start from scratch. I about reloaded Windows, but if I have to do that. Please let me know how I can delete EVERYTHING. Thanks.
So, I'm going on vacation next week (yea! me) and, as usual, I don't want to record the local and national news while I'm gone. I've tried deleting the individual scheduled recordings for the week, but they come back the next day (I assume when the EPG is updated). So I end up deleting the recurring recording for those (and anything else I don't want to record while I'm gone) and then have to add them back in when I get home. It would be really nice to have a way to suspend a recurring recording. It would be awesome if I could set an end date for the suspension, but I'd be fine with manually reenabling the recurring recording.
Need a Solution to Fully Update Please............................. Also, sound in & out on some channels.....What is the BEST codecs for sound ?????????? Please contact via email.... This routine too much trouble...........
I'm in the process of switching to NextPVR from a Mediaportal/Argus-TV setup. I'm having an issue with missing EPG data on some channels. I have deleted the setup and reconfigured EPG from scratch three times now and ended up with the same missing EPG on the same channels. In MediaPortal and Argus-TV the EPG data is all there so I don't think it's an issue with the Schedules Direct Service but I'm not sure. The full log is attached but here is a portion of the log that repeats every-time there is missing EPG data...
