I have webgrabplus running in another container and its creating a xmltv file that I want NextPVR's container to read. I can easily map a folder into NextPVRs container, but I don't know where. Can the "Add XMLTV Lineup" box that's asking for a URL / File be "local"? If so what directory is it looking in?

Can someone please post a list of hotkeys for the NextPVR Windows client app?  The record button is missing from the UI, so I want to be able to record via a hotkey.

I wanted to work on a project to integrate Netflix/Hulu/HBOMax etc recording into NextPVR by using chrome capture, a scrapper to scrape movie titles and output as channels/episode guide - could you perhaps make this xml to be interpreted as a more scrollable movie list, and hide the EPG? TV would be more difficult with episodes etc so movies would be first.  The main benefit is using adblockers to watch Hulu/DisneyPlus etc with ads.  This may never happen, but I was curious.

Essentially I would pull all of the movies on the streamer, set up x amount of channels and have the guide data just be all the movies through a script.  Then you could hide the "channels" and have them only play in another menu where the script would trigger and they would play with no ads and be able to dvr.

This way nextpvr could be truly be on its way to being all-in-one DVR stop, it could also compare movies on your current streamer to tv and recommend movies to dvr from TV that arent in your paid streamer.

I will release my code with it working as channels in NextPVR, and then perhaps you could have its own section so that it can be interpreted differently?

I've done my best to search in the forums for a solution here, but no luck so far.  Is there a way to have a script to have NextPVR run a "Update Channels" once a day, or every few hours, etc?

I love the software and have had little problems in the past.  It just seems with version 5.0 and my less than stellar antenna reception, I am getting a handful of shows failed recordings every week.  I do record a lot and wonder sometimes if my SSD drive could be to blame, but had issues when recording to NVME as well in the past so highly doubt it.  I do regular scans for errors and nothing comes back bad.  I am wondering if the time can be extended for the recording service to "accept" a tuner as working properly with good signal as this could help with antenna issues.  Also, I don't understand the "recording service not running" errors as it is working every time I check it.  Had issue with USB tuner just completely dropped by Windows device manager despite showing as device in NextPVR, so I made that the tuner of last resort and I am guessing that is the issue again.  I just don't know how to stop the issue.  See the logs.

Hi, I am using Zorin latest OS with Hauppauge Dual Dvb-T2 Tuner which NextPVR is able to detect but not able to scan for any channels. I have tried a few variations including 'auto-Default and still failed to receive any.

I have researched this for awhile and I cannot figure out what the issue is. I have a new computer PC with Windows 10 Pro now. NPVR used to work flawlessly on Windows 10 Home. The latest failed recording happened on Sept 18 where it was supposed to start at 19:00. I have attached the log from that day.

I have some recording that work and some that do not. When it does not, I believe the NPVR service is not waking the computer from sleep. The service was set to "Automatic (delayed start).

Hey guys, sorry for hijacking the forums, but I was able to create different groups for channels, but in the apps I don't see an area to show them.  Am I missing something?  On channelsdvr you can also have the option to view all channels with current epg stuff with tags like "football" and "sports".

I have a couple of devices running NextPVR and I noticed starting yesterday one of my devices now only shows an "All Channels" folder on the PVR live tv channels/guide? ....
