Quote:Last night I tried the Color Collection skin. It looks good, but I have problems with the black pop-up windows. If I plan to record a show, and there is a conflict, a black window will pop up. I cannot read the text i such a window. The frame showing where the marker is, is visible, only the text is not.
I haven't had time to have a closer look at your XML files. Maybe you have black characters on a black background?

Can anyone tell me where to find the xml code for the conflicts popup window?

Thanks,

The few skinnable items can be found in the "tv guide\skin.xml". It shares the ProgrammePopup text styles etc.

Hi Sub,

I just double-checked "tv guide\skin". The only CompositeImages I can find are; Background, SelectedButtonImage, NormalButtonImage, and DetailsPopupBackground. I have modified DetailsPopupBackground and can see the results of my changes. That's not the one causing the problem.

I have also looked in "tv guide\live-skin.xml", the Recordings skin, and the OSD skin.

Anymore other suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
David

This one is pretty old, and just not very skinnable. Its mostly hardcoded.

When I have to do changes in particular areas of the application, I often update them to make them more skinnable, but I havnt touched this one in quite a while.

If you have time, this is still a problem with dark text...
