I've been having an interesting issue using mencoder on my recently recorded files. I have the PVR-150, so every few recordings have bad timestamps.

ReTime in the post-processing seems to fix these problems and comskip now works, but I wanted to be able to fix the files a little quicker so I tried mencoder. The files seem to be correct except for one problem: there are absolutely NO timestamps. If I open the file in Windows Media Player it lists the time as 0:00. Obviously, any attempt to fast-forward, rewind, pause, comskip will not work. Has anyone else had any problem similar to this, and does anyone know a solution to this? Thanks!

Edit:

I'm not sure if anyone would need my system specs, but:
Win XP SP2
Asus K8V-X
Athlon 64 1.8GHz
Hauppauge PVR150 (latest drivers)

Why not try eliminating having bad timestamps to begin with. Use a different 150 driver. Search the forum "timestamp" and see what others have said about this issue and try a better driver.
