epg navigation problem

Hi,

I'm new to GB PVR so pardon me if I am recycling an old question. (did a quick search but found nothing).

Anyway, I updated EPG data (from my home brew XMLTV). The TV Guide shows just fine but the 'highlighted' event sometimes goes crazy (i.e. no event is green; the bottom shows details of event from the correct channel but from time not even in range onscreen; right/left buttons shifts whole table sideways but its hard to shake it to highlight event correctly again).

also, when do old events drop off the database?

I've seen this sort of behaviour when the EPG data is bad. Your probably got overlapping times or something similar. If you're unable to work it out yourself, send me your gbpvr.mdb file, and I'll let you know what is wrong with your data.

Old programme information is deleted after a few days.

you are right. when I add 1 day at a time, everything is fine. Must be something wrong with my xmltv code (although I didn't reveal the incosistancy among the 1000s of entries
