First of all, thanks for the opportunity to use this free shareware and for having all of these useful forums.

My problem is that when I click on Live TV or click to watch a program on the schedule, GBPVR freezes up and I have to use the program manager to end the app.

I have restarted the recording service. The batch window states the recording has been stopped successfully then states that the recording service is being restarted. I never see a started successfully message (don't know if this is as designed). Next I show the recording status and it states that my tuner card is sleeping. Next, I click on the Live TV button or watch button on a program. The app freezes but the recording status now says Live TV (LivePreview Mode).

I'm using v 0.97.13. I have a 2 Ghz P4 PC with 512Mb RAM, 50G free disk space, Hauppauge PVR150 card, NVIDIA Purevideo decoder, the latest drivers for the PVR150 and for my ATI Radeon 9550 GPU, and .NET 2.0 installed.

I've tried selecting VM7, VM9, Overlay, and FFDSHOW.

I have successfully setup my analog cable channel lineup with Zap2it and can navigate in the GBPVR menus.

I have reregistered the filters.

I was able to view the channels using the tuning assistant.

I can listen to .mp3s, play video files, and listen to net radio.

I also loaded WinTV200 to make sure my tuner card was working. Using that App I can view Live TV and record.

I've tried to put down everything I've tried. I tried to attached my logs, but I kept getting a timeout. One zipped file is 8 Meg and the other is 3 Meg. If there are a few specific logs that might help let me know.

reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the gbpvr.exe.log and gbpvr.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

Thanks sub. Attached are the log files you requested. Had to delete the native log file and rerun GBPVR because the first native log file was over 500 Meg.

I'm fairly its just because you've set the card type set incorrectly. You've got it set as a PVR250 instead of a PVR150. This results in million messages in the log, and causes it to eventually crash. Set the card type correct and you should be sorted.

That was it! I didn't even think to recheck my tuner card settings.
Thanks so much for your help!
