Sorry, I've held your hand enough. Work it out yourself.

Earlier in this thread you already capture source successfully receiving channels from the cable box. Its exactly the same.

It is all good, and I can understand were you were coming from, your help and time was greatly apprieciated, thank you again. I believe that I did finally make some progress last nite. I hooked it up the way we talked about, splitting the cable from the wall and running one to the ati card and one to the stb. Then the stb runs into the 150. Then I went into the config for the capture cards and set the ati for the analog channels(2-80)(these were the one the tuning assistance found), then I set the digital one up for digital channels(80-190). I found that if I left all channels checked on each card that the sound would be just static, but if I unchecked the box that corresponded to the card the sound was clear. Now I can record two channels and watch a recorded show. I just have to make sure what channel is on what card. Once again thank you for your time last nite. I will continue to play with it. I may actually try hooking up two stb and see what happen.
