playback issues

My playback is a little jerky, not too bad, but just wondering what could have caused that. Also after a while usually a couple of days running I get an error and that says it can't play any file. I can navigate through folders and such, but no playback of anything. I have to reboot in order to get it back to normal. I've also had my comskip fail and unexpectedly quit. I downloaded it about 2 months ago, not sure if there is a new update that would fix these issues.

This would usually be related to the video decoder you're using, or possibly the quartz.dll problem. See http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=5600

Are you using the intervideo decoder? some users of this decoder have reported this. You need to changed decoders to correct the problem.

I'm not the author of comskip, so cant really help you with this one.
