Title pretty much says it all. Since I upgraded to v1.0.16, playback of all recordings is herky-jerky. This includes recordings made prior to upgrading. I also tried playing recorded files in Windows Media Player, and they playback smooth as silk.

Logs attached (I think).

What video card have you got, and what audio/video decoder are you using?

The majority of people that have had this same have solved it by switching decoder and/or running PVRX2.exe with the "-fse" command line parameter.

Not sure what video card I have... I'm sure it's nothing fancy. Device Manager says "Intel 82845G/GL//GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller".

Audio video decoder is set to system default. I tried changing video decoder to the only other option available-- Main Concept MPEG Video Decoder-- and when I did I got a black screen on playback (with audio).

I went to try using the -fse command line parameter... I created a new shortcut to PVRX2.exe, then right-clicked on it and selected Properties... then tried adding -fse to the end of the string in the Target box (separated by a space). So the complete Target box reads as follows:

"C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\PVRX2.exe -fse"

When I click OK, I get an error that says "The name specified in the Target box is not valid. Make sure path and filename are correct." Is this not the correct way to add command line parameters?

Hi, I think that should be

"C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\PVRX2.exe" -fse

i.e. just the command in quotes, with the -fse parameter outside the quotes.

Cheers,
Jon.

Thanks... yes, that works.

The playback is much better now, but still occasionally stutters.
