When the remote stops working, does the keyboard continue to function?

No I am unable to use the keyboard for any functions either. The only way to stop the DVD or PVRX2 for that matter is through the Task Manager. I've also tried it in GBPVR 1.0.16 and had the same result. It only allows me to perform one remote function before locking up. I've tried resetting the IR too. I'm stumped.

Can you reproduce the problem then zip and attach the logs?

Some version of the Cyberlink video decoder are incompatible with VMR9, and can produce symptoms similar to these.

You're not using the Cyberlink video decoder I suspected, but you are using an unknown video decoder that no one else is using, and I can only suspect this is cause of this problem.

What video decoders do you have listed on the playback tab of the config app? If you dont have any listed, you can install a decent MPEG2 decoder from http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Dsca...ilters.htm or http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MPV_Decoder.htm.

It came up as set to Default in the Config. I've actually got an old OEM copy of PowerDVD installed so maybe that's the case. I'll try one of the decoders that you mentioned later this evening and see how that turns out. On a side note to this, whenever I watch a DVD the video always comes back darker on my screen, unlike when I'm watching TV. Do you think that's happening because there wasn't a decoder that was supported? Thanks for your help Sub, I appreciate it.

Ok so I tried the first decoder that you mentioned and I still get the same result, the remote works for one function while the DVD is playing and PVRX2 stops responding. Here are the new logs.

You're using an old version of the Cyberlink video decoder which is not compatible with VMR9. This results in a second video renderer being included in the graph, and the remote no longer functions.

Download a decent modern MPEG2 decoder from: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MPV_Decoder.htm

Alternative most Cyberlink decoder can be made VMR9 compatible by adding some registry settings. Google for Cyberlink EnableVMR9=1

I've got it working now. I thought I had the new decoder listed in the DVD playback and I forgot to set it. That's what I get for messing with it too late at night. Thanks again for your help though.
