I am using the TS Mux but when I pause Live TV the slider does not increase at all. I am not able to skip forward or back, the slider stays stationary at 00.00. When I exit and actually check the Live TV folder there is a full size file there that has recorded everything. Is the TS Mux just not capable of skipping forward or backward while recording Live TV?

No its not. The TS Mux is quite different from the muxes, and not really very good for use with timeshifting or watching in progress recordings. If you need to do these then try a different mux.

Are you thinking of enhancing this? I assume thes is all being done by GBPVR and not Direct Show and mpeg-ts will replace mpeg-ps as the standard in the digital tv era.

I dont have any immediate plans, but probably in the future. This will most likely happen after our MPEG4 DVB-T system lauches in New Zealand next year.

The vast majority of the world is using MPEG2 for digital TV at this stage, so I'm quite happy with the current mpeg-ps focus for recording.
