Is it possible to create the required code for direct.ini using this information? Is more information required?

Could/would someone mind showing me so I can C&P it into the ini file.

Is there more I need do to add the card infor to direct.ini?

i'm afraid that one will only do digital in GBPVR...lack of "AM_KSCATEGORY_ENCODER"

digital should be fine if it has bda drivers[most do]
try checking 'only show devices in this machine' when setting up digital source..it may be in there already..

It comes up no devices found in both analog and digital devices.

It is packaged as a Sabrent TV/FM tuner but I believe it is based on Phillips tech.

For digital I would need to add something to bda.ini?
For analog I would need to add something to direct.ini?

Sounds like I am going to be out of luck (great pity) my cable is analog input.

The card works ok with other Media Centers but they don't come close to DBVR - the EGP set up especially. That worked great.

Sorry, but GB-PVR only works with analog cards with hardware MPEG2 encoder, which unfortunately it doesnt have this.

On the digital side, it doesnt look like the drivers are installed correctly. The filter is missing in the KSCATEGORY_BDA_NETWORK_TUNER section. I'm assuming the digital side of this device doesnt work in any other apps in its current state?

Software Encoder worked like a darn even on my $19 Sabrent SAA1730 TV/FM WDM analog card. EPG worked fantastic - Canadian cable provider download XMLTV file.

The only thing I noticed is that Canada is not included in the country list? for virtual card set up. I used USA which worked fine (must be the same format).

Anyway... ALL is good. THANK YOU.
