ffdshow and dvd playback

sub does ffdshow work with dvd playback? i enabled ffdshow in the config, set ffdshow to work with raw video (which is how i made it work with dvd playback and zoom player, its also setup to work with mpeg2), but i cant get it to work.

if it doesnt work is there any chance of this being added in the future?

I have installed GBPVR, but cannot play dvd with ffsdhow. Since this question has been raised a few months ago, I am wondering if there is further development to enable ffshow for DVD playback. I also see that ffdshow is enabled for video file, so just wondering if it has been done for dvd playback. Thanks.

Yes, you can use ffdshow with DVD playback. I just checked now to be extra sure of my answer. It works fine.

Remember though, its only for post processing. You still need to have a DVD decoder installed.

Thanks. I figured it out. I was using the default player. I just changed it to PowerDVD and it works. Thanks.
