Problem with DirectShow?

Thats odd. Just looks like its not tuned in, or you have really bad reception, but from you description this isnt the case. I dont know. I've not come across it before.

Don't mean to bumpt an old post, but this morning by accident I found a workaround for watching tv, but unfortunately it won't work for scheduled recordings. If when I am watching TV, I tune it first to a non-existant channel, i.e. a premium channel to which we do not subscribe and which the cable compay installed a channel block on our line, and then switch to a regular channel, everything fixes itself. The video quality on all channels is improved and there is no static. Now all I have to do is to figure out a workaround for recording, or ideally fix the tuner so I don't have to tune to a non working channel to get it to work, as the fix only lasts for as long as the tuner is running.
