My otherwise well functioning GBPVR just stopped working.

It happened after the recording disk ran full, but that has happened before without any consequence.

Anyway, trying to enter the "Recordings" menu an "Error: Out of Memory" error occurs.

Tried reinstalling (on top of the existing install) without any luck.

Version number 0.96.08

It sounds like you've got a corrupt image file in one of your recording directories.

We've seen this before. Deleting the file corrects the error.

Its either folder.jpg, folder.png, folder.gif, default.jpg, default.png or default.gif

I just ran into this problem also although I didn't run out of memory space.

I turned off Xrecord since I'm having problems with it so I went into the recordings and then had this error: out of memory problem.

I nuked all folder.jpg files in my recordings directory and now the recordings works again.
