Sorry, I just got an email telling me the same thing. I've cleaned out my mail boxes so try sending it again.

You're going to hate this, but the file played fine for me in GB-PVR. It just defaulted to using the ffdshow audio decoder and the Cyberlink MPEG2 decoder I'm using.

BTW, awesome quality video. Very detailed dirt etc.

LOL... of course. Actually, that's good news. That tells me this I can at least try something else. I am curious why GBPVR can't play the audio with the NVidia decoder, especially since the graph plays it back fine as does WMP. Obviously something is different, and I think from some other posts I'm not the only one having this issue. But you give me hope.

Actually, I was thinking the one I put up for you wasn't a good quality example, probably because the movie source wasn't 1080i even if the broadcast was. I was thinking I needed to put LOTR on DVD and get to the same scene to compare them.

I've only been playing with this STB fireware transfer for a day or two, but the true HD captures are incredible.

Thanks again for your time sub.

Pure speculation, but I really get the feeling nvidia does some trickery to be a pain in the butt for other apps that uses its decoders but arent on the "approved" list. I've seen comments about lots of apps having difficulties with nvidia decoders...

Remember, we dont get any HDTV here, so my expectations may be low Big Grin

Ah, finally some relief...

Installed the latest ffdshow, opened the .ts file in GraphEdt, confirmed the system was defaulting to use it, it did. Hit play, sounded great.

Back to GBPVR, played file, no sound. Opened lastgraph in GraphEdt, shows ffdshow as the audio decoder, hit play. Sounded great. *sigh*

!*Lightbulb over head*! Exited GB-PVR and went back in, worked! Woohoo!! Sub and ffdshow to the rescue.

Thanks again for your time... as usual you've went above and beyond.
