Problem with Intervideo Multiplexer

GBPVR works fine on my Pinnacle 310i with the DVR-MS BDA multiplexer, but I'd prefer to record in MPEG-2 format.

The BDA Mux checker reports that it can see the Intervideo Mux:
Found: InterVideo Multiplexer
FILE: F:\Program Files\InterVideo\Common\Bin\ivimux.ax
VERSION: 3.0.79.81

However, when I try and use this the recorder crashes, so badly I have to restart my system.

Is the version of the multiplexer acceptable? If not, what software do I have to update (e.g. WinDVR, WinDVD) to get the right version?

Alternatively, is there a good third party MPEG-2 multiplexer you can recommend?

get rid of the intervideo mux, it's a bit crappy. see this thread here http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...+cyberlink for how to get a cyberlink mux from the twinhan site, it works ok with my pinnacle 200e DVB-T usb
