Hi!

If this question falls into the grey zone category, please tell me... Smile I have not been able to find any clues anywhere else so this is kind of my last resort and I would hate having to abandon GBPVR due to this.

Anyway, what could be reason for being able to watch live tv when the MD plugin support is deactivated but not when it has been activated? Applies to both free and non-free channels.

Everything is working fine when using for example DVBDream with an identical MD plugin setup.

I have experimented with the codecs setup but with no noticeable difference.

Logs attached...

Hi!

I have got the same exact problem, have you found any solution to the problem?

What MDPlugin are you using? I'm using WinCSC.

Hi!

Unfortunately not. I had to abandon GBPVR in favor of MythTV. Somewhat more complicated but hopefully worth it in the end... Smile

I was using Yankse (1.32 something if I remember correctly) but I tried pretty much all of them. I also tried different codecs which gave some success (if you can call one frame per minute a success).

If you ever solve this, I would really appreciate if you post it here.

Cheers,
Anders

I found some stability problem using MDAPI with Cyberlink mux (GBPVR suddenly close during channel viewing or when changing channel), using MS-DVR mux it's much more stable.

I have on HTPC downstairs with GBPVR 99.5 work perfectly with WinCSC and Cyberlink MUX. But when i try to install the next on ( the bedroom TV) with the exact same lineup I don't get any picture.

I tried installing ProgDVB with WinCSC and that worked

So now I don't have any Idea what to do.

Did you put ffdesca.dll in the gbpvr folder?
Did you put mdapifilter.ax in the gbpvr folder and register it?
Your plugins are in the mdplugins subfolder?
When you start live-tv mdapi icon appears in the taskbar?

Try using the original version of mdapifilter.ax, the new ones are optimized for mediaportal and in my GBPVR configuration doesn't work very well.

All the files are in the right place and registered if need be. I get the Icon and get connected with the newcamd server.

Will try the old mdapifilter.ax.

Thank for the help!

I am using a Nova-T 500 and am having the same problem. Could it be something with dual tuners and GB-PVR's MD plugin support? As mentioned before, it does work with other software so it should not be due to the MD plugin itself. Or?

Cheers,
Anders
