Will the Popcorn Port run on other NMT?

Hi all,

Been lurking for a while and like the look of GB-PVR and have gone ahead and purchased a FloppyDTV Satellite device.

However, I am also looking at a NMT like device for my DVD collection and LiveTV. Now from what I have read the Popcorn Hour can be used against the GB-PVR? Could I use the port on other devices such as the Tvix range, eGreat EG-M31A, etc?

mvpmcx2 will likely run on other NMT platforms, but you are really on your own with unique problems if Syabas can't help me determine the cause. The biggest issue will be if sub or I use new features in the firmware that don't make it immediately to other platforms.

The TVIX 6500 isn't an NMT device but the firmware has been hacked so emulation mode might run on it. At its price, I'd work on a PS3 port first.
