Are you saying it didnt work when you tried the digital side of the device in another application, or it didnt work when you tried it in GB-PVR? If that latter, did you try the former?

Try doing the 'map digital channels to epg channels' step then, and zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

hi, i couldn't do the 'map digital channels to epg channels' step. it doesn't recognise the card at all, even digitally.

Sorry, I think you're out of luck then. It sounds like this card doesnt like GB-PVR.

then, can anybody here suggest me a good sofware (freeware or not) to make the recording by hour programmation work correctly, please ? i no it's supposed to be only on gb pvr, but doesn't help much in my case.
thanks to answer

For unsupported tuners, what would the feasibility be of calling an external program - I guess a bit like the old software encoder thingie. Source type 'external' Something like call a batch file at the start time with end time, and destination directory+filename. Then if a manufacturers software supported a command line all sorts of unsupported tuners could be utilised (as found in my bottom drawer  )

I'd rather GB-PVR works well with a smaller set of cards, than in some half-arsed fashion with all sorts of odd ball cards that'll create all sorts of support posts. Using external command line recorder programmes is also very limiting - no ability to do live tv, no ability to watch in progress recordings etc.

Thanks, I was just shoving a wet finger up in the air without having thought it through.
