1.3.11, fresh install, xp sp2, intel chipset in a shuttle box. (GBPVR running on another box to record with various tuners using Cyberlinks .mpg mux.)
Playback of recorded tv, access through 'Videos', starts normally but video freezes after some minutes (5-15) normal viewing. Sound continues for some time but eventually that stops too.
PVXR2 remains responsive and returning to main menu and starting over allows to start playing the video and FF'ing through to where it stopped before and continuing until it stops again.
I've tried:
Playing from local drive instead of remote share.
Changing PVXR2's renderer to all the available options. (EVR returns error)
Running as a standalone install instead of a client.
Downgrading to previous gbpvr version.
Upgrading Windows Media Player to v.11.
Removing all power saving settings on the pc.
Notes:
Mediaportal, VLC and MPC all play the files through from start to finish without issue, suggesting not an underlying codec or hardware problem.
I prefer gbpvr and would like to use it on this set top box purely for playing tv recorded by another machine across the lan as I've done successfully before. Any ideas?
