Ok so I'll reword what i said. Would it be possible for nextpvr to add Description100 in the sub-title field for movies so that the short description can be displayed in clients like Kodi. It doesn't add that much mess to the guide as it is

That can really screw up Kodi picklist  Have a look at a couple of screenshots with the subtitle https://imgur.com/a/4NzBgA6 and you might see what I mean.   The movie Caddyshack would look really lame on that with a few words beside it.

Having the short plot can be useful but it needs to be in a field that the skinners are aware of.

I am already retrieving this info. I'm currently only using it for the description though. ie, it'll prefer to set the description to the 'description1000' field, but if that isn't supplied, then it'll fall back to using the 'description100' field.
