Just if you would need more info.. all the logs.

I did try some other drivers and tried to use pvr150 (without the mce) as shown in the logs, no results

According to the filtercheck.log your PVR150 drivers dont seem to be installed correctly. I'd try uninstalling/reinstalling it.

Hi Sub,

Thank you for your answer and your support.

I tried to reinstall the drivers, did also a de install, reboot and an install, no change.
Could you explain what is wrong in the log file ? Maybe that gives a direction to look at.

Normally the PVR150 directshow filters would have multi pins defined. Some of yours have no pins. These will not be usable by the application:

Each filter should have a filtername and a number of pins, like this example called "Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Encoder", with an input pin called "656", and two output pins called "MPEG" and "Mpeg Index":
Quote:22:14:03.015 INFO Checking AM_KSCATEGORY_ENCODER filters
22:14:03.031 INFO found: Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Encoder
22:14:03.031 INFO - (input) 656
22:14:03.031 INFO - (output) MPEG
22:14:03.031 INFO - (output) Mpeg Index

Your machine incorrectly has some filters that only have a name and no pins. This particular filter should have about 8 pins with various names:

Hi Snoebel, Sub

Any update on this subject? I'm thinking of upgrading to E2K8 too, but only want to do this if the mentioned pin problem is solved.

Not from my end. In Snoebel's situation above, he has an non functioning driver install. I dont know if other W2K8 users would get the same or not. I've not seen any other comments success or failure on W2K8.

No luck on my end, I tried several other drivers (versions), nothing seems to work.
I did mail Hauppauge, got a response that they will keep me informed .. Not sure what that means, but nothing concrete yet.

Sub, I'm not clear in what the exact good result should be, and what you saw what was wrong on my result in the log file.

Your log had:
Quote:22:14:03.031 INFO Checking AM_KSCATEGORY_CROSSBAR filters
22:14:03.031 INFO found: Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Crossbar
22:14:03.031 INFO
This is missing the input/output pins that would usually exist on this cross bar. You should have something like (cant check exact pin names at the moment):
Quote:22:14:03.031 INFO Checking AM_KSCATEGORY_CROSSBAR filters
22:14:03.031 INFO found: Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Crossbar
22:14:03.031 INFO - (input) 0: Video Tuner In
22:14:03.031 INFO - (input) 1: Audio Tuner In

22:14:03.031 INFO - (output) 0: Video Decoder Out
22:14:03.031 INFO - (output) 1: Audio Decoder Out
...and the same for some of your other filters.
