Can you reset the logging level to debug, then reproduce and repost the logs?

Tried HtV's advise with the suggested decoder and still no playback with pvrx2.

Sub, when you say to try w/o ffdshow, you mean to uninstall it? The MPV-decoder I tried yesterday with no playback as well when using PVRX2.

You can disable ffdshow in the ffdshow configuration.

Its in the config app. The default is 'Debug' which gives me the most diagnostic info.

I think I managed to disable ffdshow. Attaching the req'd logs.

To be honest, I'm not really sure what to suggest. I can see anything obvious in the logs. I'm still suspecting your video card isnt up to the task, but there is nothing indicating thats definitely the problem.

Weird... Well, ok, thx. I'll see if I can scourge up a more recent-generation geforce-card from the shelves at work, borrow it for a while and try it out. Will report back when and if I've done so!

What geforce-generation would you suggest for GBPVR anyway? My main objective with the card would be that it has no fan because of the noise-levels, has a tv-out and must be a AGP.

Since the machine running GBPVR isn't going to do anything else but be a PVR, the geforce-card doesn't really need to be a high-end card IMO, but just what is suggested, if a GF2-card isn't up to spec?

TIA.

Really? That high? The playback on medium-quality recordings, AVIConfused and DVDConfused with the old gbpvr-executable is quite ok with my current 32MB AGP GF2 MX/400.

Before I had a PCI-type GF4MX or something like that and this one was a bit choppy. Had to use this card specifically because the SFF-machine I used at the time didn't have any AGP-slots...

Sub, suppose I'd get a Haupaugge PVR350-card with hardware video decoding, would the problems I have currently with the PVRX2-executable go away you think?

TIA.
