Installation problem of HVR-1250 in Vista x64

ffdshow, used in all places that it is available within the configuration program, using default settings, gave one progress: I have Audio in the "Digital Channel Mapping" window. I was not able to ever see video in the preview box.

Post the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll see what decoder got selected.

It tried to use the ffdshow decoder, but it wouldnt connect, so ended up still using the 'MainConcept (HCW) MPEG-2 Video Decoder'. I'm guessing you'll need to check the ffdshow settings to make sure MPEG2 is enabled, and that "pvrx2.exe" is on the white list of applications that can use ffdshow.

mpeg2 was indeed disabled.

You are very good at solving these problems. I now have video and audio!

I'll now need to go through the options to get working the way I want, but the progress over the last day was fantastic!
