Well it is a weird fault. That has exhausted all my ideas - I'm sorry.
Any ideas from anyone else?

Well it almost took a year for this one. I did not have time to resolve this until the last month. The problem with slowmotion playback was from a bad secondary IDE cable. I thought it was a problem with the drive, I ran the seagate tools and it took forever to run and it took over two days to format the drive but no error with the seagate tools. After I moved the data back to this drive, I still had the problem. I have the OS on one drive on the primary IDE as Master and the data drive on the primary IDE as slave. After replacing the cable I still had the problem. I then replaced the secondary cable that had the DVD Rom only and it solved the problem.
Just wanted to let you know that sometimes the problem can be in strange places. Mike |
