Subtitles Enabled

If I press the yellow button, it no longer says in the top left "Subtitles Enabled", but subtitles still continue.

Just thought I'd revisit this. With the amount of time that lapses between posts on this thread, you can see it's not THAT important...

But I wanted to say that the Subtitle Enabled caption still displays by default on eaither the PC or MVP.

CTRL Y or the Yellow button does make it go away. But on the next recording view, it's back..

None of my programs have subtitles, and so it's not a pain except it would be nice for it to not be there unless I want it to be...

I gather that subtitles are NOT SRT or Teletext... Perhaps it's closed captioning ... (NTSC)...

Just wonderd if it was something else then what was already visited...
