New mvpmcx2o update for NPVR v 2.0 2011-02-28

A new minor update of mvpmcx2o.7z is available for direct download or via NMTInstall2. There are minor improvements when exiting back to NMT menu function and while not perfect it should be quite a bit more reliable now.

This works with all versions of GB-PVR or NPVR but NPVR 2.1.4 is highly recommended.

Yes, I try not to make too many links to the same file in case I have to change things, the direct download is linked in the installation & survival guide sticky and NMTInstall in the dummies guide sticky.

I installed this update along with 2.1.4 and noticed the following change on my A110. Previously, when skipping repeatedly (like through a baseball game) occasionally (once every 5 or 10 skips) the screen would freeze for about 2 seconds, go black for about 2 seconds then resume at the proper skip point. With the new mvpmcx2o, and the same process, after the black screen, it drops back to the recordings menu.

I put the old mcpmcx2o back (3/17), and the previous behavior was restored. I will have to replace the new file and recreate if you would like logs.

Sure roy I would like to see the log, especially the putty logs I showed you before. mvpmcx2 does have some safety features against skipping too fast, because that can mess up the video demuxer, and it does involve stopping and restarting in the same place. I only made one small change that avoids mvpmx2 getting stuck while pre-buffering a bad file and I am curious if there is a conflict.

These logs are with the previous mvpmcx2 (3/6/2011) and show skipping that goes black but resumes properly, two times I think, last one just before stopping the recording.

Thanks roy, I do see my change is working but it didn't take into consideration those stuck skips.
