I've uninstalled the old version of GBPVR and even deleted the old gbpvr dir so its a completly clean install after installing .Net2.0.

Configuring from scratch I cannot get any analogue tv channels via my HVR1300. I select Hauppage Roslyn for the card. This used to work on the previous version.

It lets me configure them, but when I try to view them using gbpvr I get a black screen and have to kill the process!

Freeview channels will configure correctly. I need the analogue channels as I cannot receive all Freeview channels and use Analogue for ITV and C4.

I'm uk based.

Any ideas????
Thanks
Alan

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

have you tried 'Hauppauge HVR1300 (analogue)' rather than Rosalyn?

Ok, I've ziped the logs.

Seems to be logging...
"10:52:08.156 VERBOSE GetFilterProperty - IKsPropertySet->QuerySupported property failed" in and endless loop. Log file grows rapidly.

I've tried with Roslyn and HVR1300(Analogue)

OK, so it turns out that I have this exact problem after all. The composite input works fine, and I usually watch that and DVBT, so I hadn't realised the problem with the internal tuner channels.

Black screen, the HDD starts chugging away, 100% CPU usage by GBPVR and a 39Meg logfile whaich I can't upload, but the just of it is the same (VERBOSE GetFilterProperty - IKsPropertySet->QuerySupported property failed" )

Tried overlay, VMR9 and FFDSHOW disabled. (and Rosalyn and HVR(analogue) devices Wink)[ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]

You could try editing the roslyn section in direct.ini, and setting INIT_MODE=ECP or INIT_MODE=DEFAULT. You'll need to check if either of these generate errors in the logs.

tried setting INIT_MODE=ECP and Default - same problem with roslyn and HVR(analogue) though.

Are you saying it still has the "IKsPropertySet->QuerySupported property" error message? If so, then you didnt set it correctly. INIT_MODE=DEFAULT will not make these calls.

Have you tried newer drivers from Hauppauge?
http://hauppauge.lightpath.net/de/chelse...-24111.exe
The setup install also a patch to Windows XP. I dont know if it could solve your problem but it solved mine (I wasn't able to tune up DVB-T on both my HVR-1100 and HVR-1300 after 97.7 installation).

Good luck
