yup, that's got the analogue channels showing, thanks - but there's flashing coloured blocks across the bottom of the screen - any idea what this might be?

***edit*** scratch that last bit, they've disappeared after a restart.

I was having the same thing happen with my ProVideo PV258/259. Setting INIT_MSP=0 in the parameters in the direct.ini file corrected the problem. What the heck does that parameter do?

Thank heavens I came across this thread. It only came up with the search capability embedded in the forum web interface. The Google search at the top of the forums web page showed no matches when searching on GetFilterProperty.
