Bump...!

I just wondered if there was something that either you (sub) or I could do...

Again, it's not the end of the world. (really, is TV all THAT important?)

But my MCE remote doesn't have any of the coloured buttons and I've assigned all theother buttons to things. I'm just trying to get the Subtitles Enabled item off the screen... and make it stay off. Like it was in the last few releases...

Both the PC and MVP act the same, I can CTRL Y with the keyboard, but on the next video, it's back...

Would it help to make a very protracted puh leeeeeee zzzze !

Not sure if this is quite the same issue, but whether or not I turn the subtitles off, I am getting subtitled text on channels when when watching LiveTV. This only started recently since using v0.98.08.

From what I understand, Teletext, Subtitles (Closed Captions) are different. I notice you are from the UK. Perhaps you have TeleText.

I'm in Canada so I have no experience with Teletext...

If you are seeing teletext, you can turn it off in the config program, on the Misc tab...

Hi, yep I'm in the UK. I've already tried turning it off in the Config. That disables the Teletext but it doesn't appear to stop the subtitles comming on screen. I've tried exiting GBPVR, and also restarting the PC. Its getting kind of annoying at this point, gets in the way a lot Sad

In the meantime, are you able to disable the subtitles by the yellow button (on remote if you have) or the CTRL Y on keyboard?

If I press the yellow button, it no longer says in the top left "Subtitles Enabled", but subtitles still continue.
