Migrating to 2003, any traps?

Hi all,

I plan to migrate my system from Windows XP to Server 2003. The system uses a Hauppauge PVR150 with IR Blaster.

What do I need to look out for?

I'm hoping if I copy the database files across after installing GBPVR, I'll keep my settings and recurring recordings. Is there any files I need besides this? Can I just dump the directory to DVD & then copy it back once I've re-installed?

What's going to jump out & bite me?

I have been running 2003 for quite some time. The only trap I found was that hardware acceleration of sound and video is disabled by default. You can just manually enable it. Otherwise everything is pritty much the same as in XP.

If you're running an AMD mobo with VIA chipset install the latest VIA 4in1 chipset drivers or your PVR150 won't work.
