Its worth noting that reoccurring recordings are only created when the EPG update occurs. Are you using a real EPG? If not, then this probably why you're getting this problem.

Could you clarify if this is just the automatic update or manual updates as well?
Thanks

Both, but note this bug from the sticky v0.99.12 survival guide that relates to the manual update: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...ostcount=7

Hi,
I had follow the instructions given in the link to replace the .dll file.
I had uninstall and reinstall a fresh copy of 99.12. Able to launch the program. After replacing the .dll file, the program not able to launch anymore.
The service not able to start also.

My machine is installed with .NetFramework 1.1 + all SPs + Hotfixes, 2.0 + all SPs + Hotfixes and 3.0.

Please help.

How quickly does it die? Does it produce any logs first? If it does, then it would probably help if you can post them here.
I'm not always right

I believe the latest version of GBPVR (99.12) requires NetFramework 2.0.

Here is a quote from the GBPVR Homepage;

What do I need?
You need to be running on Windows 2000 or higher. Your machine must also have the Microsoft .NET v2.0 runtime installed. You must have a supported video capture device.

Hope this Helps.. Kevin

The crash will occur once the I start launching the program. No logs file is generated. I'm running WinXP + .NetFramework 2.0. Problem will occur once the .dll file is being replaced. Please help. What to do next?

Sad to say that I have to revert back to 99.05 due to the reoccuring problem with 99.12 and the patch crash the 99.12. Thanks everybody for the help. I will wait for the next release to upgrade it again.

All my pending recordings are gone after zap2it expired. I renewed it and updated the EPG, but pending recordings are still empty.
I have a lot of re-occurring recordings, but none show up in pending recordings.

Thanks.
