I came across a problem when playing back a recording the fast forward and skip key will work fine on a 30 minute program. But with I play back a 60 minute recording around 43 minutes and try to fast forward or use the skip key ( to skip commercials) the program will freeze. I can shut off the MEDIAMVP unit and reload GB-PVR V0.19 and it will show the recording list with the program I was playing if I hit any key the screen will go blank I shut off the MVP and some times I can get the Main Menu page to come up but none of the keys will work and the TV Guide is highlighted and GB-PVR is locked. I can go to my computer and try to end GB-PVR but it will not close and I get a beep from my computer. I have to go the Task Manger (ctr-alt-del key) and stop GB-PVR and the error program not responding is shown then I tell it to close down.

This has happen several times playing back recordings it seem to play back fine if I do not use the skip of fast forward key after about 40 minutes in to the recording.

I can play back the recordings with the MEDIAMVP (Hauppauge software) and use the numbers keys to skip to 1 ie 10% 9 ie 90% in to the one hour recording or use the skip key with is a 30 second jump with no problem.

I am using the 250 Hauppauge card, a wired router connected to the MEDIAMVP, a Maxtor USB2 160G hardrive to record and play back the video. WinXP, P4 1.8G and 512 RDRAM (Rambus) memory in my computer.

Thanks.

This sound like the integer overflow bug (reported here in another thread) that affected large files on the MVP. This has been corrected for the next release.
