This may not be a gb-pvr problem but here goes. I use gb-pvr through a PVR350. All is well except when the box comes back from a power resume GB-PVR is not displayed on the TV. If I log into the box remotely with Ultr@VNC I can see GB-PVR and it is in the forground. TV displays the colour bars. I have tried all sorts of things. If I stop and start GB-PVR then I can see it on the TV. I am running .908. This is a new build and new hardware that I bought for the job. No antiVirus SW etc. Everything else is fine.

Any ideas?

Don't know, but you could try to use gbpvrwake.exe http://www.gbpvr.com/GBPVRWake.exe (use save target as...).

When waking from suspend/hibernation, it will exit gbpvr and run the batchfile wake.cmd (that you should create in your gbpvr directory).

If you create wake.cmd something like:
<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">
ECHO Waking up >> logfile.txt
date /t >> %logfile%
time /t >> %logfile%

gbpvr.exe
[/QUOTE]
GBPVR is stopped first, the wake-event is logged to logfile.txt, inlcuding the date and time.

Then gbpvr is started.

This should work...

Worked a treat... I guessed you meant put GBPVRWake.exe in startup and wake.cmd. GBPVRWake.exe runs as a TSR. Thanks for that. What does GBPVRWake.exe do. Just out of interest?

In the early days (that is a few months ago ;-) ) the hauppauge drivers didnot reinitialise the pvr350 properly. That caused the tv-out to be off.

I found out that with devcon you could restart the pvr350 quite easily with a batchfile. The question was whether this could be atuomated. Sub created this file gbpvrwake.exe to stop gbpvr (so that the pvr350 was not in use) and start wake.cmd. In that cmd file the correct devcon stuff could be put. It worked very fine for me. But soon after that the new hauppauge drivers (althoug in the Dutch hauppauge forum the hauppauge people told me it was plain impossible) solved the issue.

I'm still using gbpvrwake for logging purposes. And now you're happy with it!!
