HI

Since installing 1.2.9 I've had an issue with playingback dvds. Both using the DVD button or by selecting the .dvd file in the video library.

in both situations GBPVR just returns straight to the main menu (or stays there in the case of the DVD button).

If I switch back to the old UI or play the files back in Windows media player it all works fine.

i'm attaching the logs for both situations.

Any thoughts on this it usd to work fine with the previous version.

thanks

Rich

I think this happens when you're using the Overlay video renderer. Sorry, you might need to switch to a different video renderer for now.

Tried using the new Overlay renderer option. Plays Xvids fine, but if I try to play a DVD it just returns to the main menu and there is an error in the logs:
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

So I'll go back to VMR9 Custom for now, no worries, just wanted to try Overlay to see if the picture was smoother.

Sub, do you think this may be fixed in a later release?

Happy Easter to you and your family.

Yes. I'm sure its not a big problem. Its just something I didnt think to test with the Overlay renderer before putting the release out.
