I have tried and tried. I've been using GBPvr for over a year now and until recently have had no issues. All of the sudden Comclean ain't..

It runs through the post processing file but when it hits the part where it says "call comclean %1" that's it. It just stops.

I've tried comclean2 with cutteraman but no go there either.

It's going through comskip without issue and creating the txt and edl files but comclean just isn't working. I've tried dropping the txt files on the comclean bat and it just doesn't work.

suggestions?

Thanks

Why do you need to cut out the commercials i.s.o. skipping them?

The idea of a PVR for me was to record programs but also to be able to watch them without all the commercials. Therefore cutting out the commercials has been a big draw for me doing this. :-)

Within GBPVR you can automatically skip the commercials based on the information generated by comskip.
No need to run comclean
Actually, if the comskip output is available GBPVR will use it by default.

I don't use internal GBPvr settings. That is to say that once I record a program I don't use the PVR software to watch it. I use an external player to watch the video.

Like I did when using the UPnP players.

Mencoder has been reported as delivering good results.
Download comclean3.bat
Install mencoder (comes with mplayer)
Edit comclean3.bat to make it point to where mencoder.exe can be found
set
output_edl=1
in comskip.ini
replace the call to comclean.bat with comclean3.bat

I can't seem to locate mencoder. I downloaded and installed mplayer, but don't see the mencoder executable anywhere. Any suggestions, or a download link?

Thanks.

FYI: I found it on version 1.0pre8, but it wasn't included in the Jan 14, 2009 build.
