Deleting Start Menu folder...

In Vista, after deleting the GB-PVR Start Menu folder, then running PVRX2 and clicking "Watch" to view a channel, causes Windows installer to open and configure GB-PVR with this message, "Please wait while Windows configures GB-PVR". Is there a way to prevent this from happening other than always having the GB-PVR folder in All Programs in the Star Menu? Thanks

Edit: Opening Config.exe also causes this problem.

Sorry, the Windows Installer is pretty insistent about "repairing" application installations that it thinks is damaged. I'm not sure how to work around this.

Hi sub, I found a work around for this. I simply made the folder hidden. SP

Nice. That also solves my problem trying to move the menu: drag a shortcut where I want it in the Start Menu (using the 'Documents and Settings\username\Start Menu' view) then hide the 'Programs\GB-PVR' version.
