The analog side (composite etc) of this device is not compatible with GB-PVR since it lacks the required hardware MPEG2 encoder. Sorry.

The digital side should though. I've only encounted DVB-T versions of this in the past, but if you run filtercheck.exe from the gbpvr directory, then zip and attach the filtercheck.log, then I'll take a look at what entry needs to be added to your bda.ini to get digital working.

The tuner filter doesn't look right but try adding the following to your bda.ini:

Code:
[ASUS My Cinema-P7131]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
RECEIVER_ONLY_MODE=1
FILTER_RECEIVER=713x BDA Digital Capture
PIN_RECEIVER_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_RECEIVER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

It looks like tuner's digital drivers is not installed correctly (missing one of the two required filters). Have you seen the device work in any other application?

I didn't think it should be a receiver only component but I wasn't sure.

The reason I didnt think it was a 'receiver only' device is that there is several other devices using the same driver in bda.ini, but they all have both a tuner and capture filter.

yes, it works well with cyberlink power cinema, but i dont like it since the timing record device doesn't work well, if i want it to work, i have to start the record manuelly. otherwise it wark well for the capture.

I should have said "Have you seen the digital side of this device work in any other application?" If yes, then you could try adding the section whurlston detailed above, then setup a digital capture source in the config app. As I mentioned though, this device isnt going to be usable for analog, so no recording from the 'composite' input mentioned in your original post.
