It looks like you have prime enabled in your digital capture source. You need to go in and make sure its only enabled on the analog capture sources.

Ok, well I never added it there myself, I only added it to the analog sources. Yes it does appear in my digital sources - I thought this must have just been a 'feature' of gbpvr that it also gets added to the list of channels on the digital source?!?
I'm wondering - I used djkxml to bring in the epg, and this contains both my digital and analog channels. Is this why it's happening? Do I need to import two separate epg files?
TriTV isn't (currently) picked up by djkxml and I've just realised this isn't listed under my digital sources... so maybe that's why that channel still works?
All that aside, the thing is, Prime was working initially when I set it up...

Hi, some extra info - last night I first turned on pvrx2 at 10pm and thats when I first saw Prime not working, so I captured the logs & posted them. But afterwards I looked at my recordings - I'd earlier preset gbpvr to record from 8:30 to 9:30, and checking the recordings it DID get recorded, and I managed to watch the entire recording.
However things don't look right with the recording - it's listed (when playing) as being 12:23. The file on disk is a 2.8GB mpg file and media player also says it's 12:23. Additionally when I fast-forward or rewind (thru ads), it seems unpredictable (possibly because of the incorrect file length?). NB gbpvr has 'use comskip' ticked (as per the initial install), but I don't actually have comskip on my machine yet, incase that has any bearing.

So I'm wondering... after the recording took place and the system somehow set the wrong stats (recording length) in the mpg file, and along with it being under digital sources, could it have updated the gbpvr database incorrectly somehow, making the channel no longer watchable?

You dont have to use two EPG files. If you only use the one, then you should make sure the unavailable channels are disabled in your capture source.

So can I just clarify - when you say 'unavailable channels' - you mean the (valid) analog channel that appears under the digital capture source? I.e it is actually an available channel, just not under digital...

Is this something that could be tweaked in a future build...? I.e it seems importing the EPG has caused the analog channel(s) to get added automatically under the digital source setup, even though the initial scan didn't put them there; maybe this shouldn't happen? Afterall, the digital channels haven't automatically appeared under the analog capture setup...
And regardless of whether the EPG data includes a tag indicating if a channel is A or D, should the import of the EPG data cause the extra channels to be added anyway, if they weren't tuned in in the first place?

I mean that you should look at your list of channels in each capture source, and disable any channels that shouldnt be available via that capture source. For example, if prime is an analog only channel, then make sure you dont have it enabled in your digital capture sources. You get the idea...

I dont know. Maybe the capture device you're using generates a broken time line. The PVR150 was known to do this in the past (http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=14006). Other devices may have similar problems.

I did this, and great - Prime came up, Thanks! However after only a few seconds, my PC blue-screened.
Error was in hcw89.sys - appears to be the "hvr22xx PCIe capture driver" so guess I'll be on the lookout for hauppauge updates :S
The good thing is, it hasn't crashed once since rebooting... so maybe it was because gbpvr thought Prime was a digital channel it had tripped up the capture card... .but all good now
