Try opposite setting (true or false) to see if it makes a difference.
Mine was set to true. Made it false and it sure did make a difference... On both live tv and previous recordings I no longer had sound.
Also for previous recordings it looked like I had nasty interlacing artifacts (it'd almost be worth me attaching a screenshot...) so this didn't really seem like a good thing to change.

Can anyone explain a little more about the TSReader? (And if not using the built-in one, what does the system do and can I provide different 3rd-party ones?)

Still seeing problems with various recordings (both analog & digital) where Ctrl-F/Ctrl-D jump by varying amounts. Even a 'rewind' sometimes jumps forwards a few seconds!
Was so bad watching a movie a couple of days ago, to fast-forward past ads I could only use the mouse to try & click in the progress meter in about the right spot... very hit & miss literally.

Seems the often-discussed "pvr150 timestamp issue" affects my hvr2200, but not just for analog mpeg recordings, but digital too. (With the latter I use only .ts files, i.e I don't (yet) use comskip or auto-convert to anything after recording, etc, so just playing back the Transport Stream files.)

You wouldnt have the same analog timestamp problem on digital recordings - that will be something different.

Y, but it certainly occurs with digital recordings... should I try to reproduce the problem and attach logs? Which do you need - pvrx2 logs?
One thing to note - in the last 5 or so minutes of the recording it looked like a few frames were dropped. Could a little bit of info missing in the transport stream (due to bad reception?) be causing a problem?

I am having the same problem. When I pause HD LiveTV and then unpause it it will freeze for a while. I noticed the amount of time it freezes depends on how long it was paused for. It freezes audio and video. It will eventually come back and work fine (audio and video are synced). If I pause it then upause it twice in a row it will sometimes come back right away sometimes not. Any solutions?

No ideas? I added a Analog tuner and besides ghosting (I assume is a decoder issue) it did NOT freeze on unpause

I installed SageTv and noticed something. When watching HD with both GBPVR and SAGE, GBPVR hammers the hard drive where SAGE does not. Would for some reason the hard drive not have enough access time to read while writing data?

What type of capture device were you using, and was this analog or digital?

AverMedia AverTV Combo PCI-E. I tried it both ways - analog and digital. Analog paused and unpaused fine. Digital does not unpause well.

Are you talking about pausing live tv, or an existing recording?
