A new issue just cropped up since I installed v1.3.7 -- playback of DVR-MS recordings won't resume after pressing Pause. I get a short burst of playback (from the buffer I assume) and then the playback freezes. I can hit Esc and then Resume playback exactly where it froze, but I've let it sit for 10 minutes after pressing Play without getting a response.

I can reproduce and zip up logs, but I'm not sure what it would show since the system doesn't seem to think that there is a problem and continues to respond in all other respects. Any thoughts?

Thanks.

P.S. Is there an alternative to PayPal for donating? I can't access my account because I don't remember the password and exact address from the college apartment where I registered 8 years ago... Rolleyes

Nothing springs to mind, but reproduce the problem and attach the logs and I'll see if anything stands out.

Just open a new account - you don't have the same email address you had 8 years ago, do you?

@Mike -- nope, but the credit card number is the same. Trust me, it's been painful how much they don't want me as a customer.

I know, I know... I'm behind the times with only having one credit card, but in reality the thing that prevents me from getting another PayPal account on a different card was how poorly I've been treated when trying to work with them on the issue. I was just hoping that there was another alternative besides flying to NZ and handing Sub a wad of cash. Besides, if I wait much longer my US dollars won't be worth the trouble anyway Smile

Ok, decided to give 1.3.7 another try because sub thankfully posted another ts patch: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post310675

Haven't been able to fully test it yet because another problem has cropped up. Pausing live TV from live preview mode results in a black screen. When pause is pressed again to begin playing again, it exits back to the guide. Attached are the logs. Attempting to not use live preview mode just results in a black screen. This problem didn't occur this way in the previous version, so I don't think it's decoder related.

P.S. I love how the menus scroll smoothly now on first load!

PPS: It does this with all renderers.

Logs attached. I reproduced the issue 3 different times with the keyboard, Gyration MCE remote, and Hauppauge remote. Hopefully it's all captured in these logs...

Thanks.

just a suggestion: I had some similar issue with mpg files. Its gone since a had reinstalled (changed) cyberlink. I have two different version 8 (gold and one bundled with my dvd writer, both version 8). As I remember, the gold version does the same whilst that one bundled with my dvd writer plays fine after pause.

So you may try a different video decoder.

Before pressing that second pause key, can you check if the live tv file is on disk and growing?
