Try increasing the 'live tv pre-play delay' setting in the config app playback tab. Start with 4 seconds to test it out.

Ok, I found some settings that make it work:
-Overlay renderer -System default Video and Audio decoders (is there a way to tell what this is?) -1000ms live buffer -enable multi-record support OFF (live channel change doesn't work with it on) I wish the EVR worked as it did in the previous version, but for now these settings are usable (until some other install process changes what 'system default' points to.)

I'm sure its just decoder related, and should work with EVR, so keep experimenting.

Any ideas why the decoder would have worked with the previous GBPVR version but not this one?

No, but I'm not aware of any other reports of it, so it makes me think something else has probably changed on your machine too.

I experienced the same problem as the poster (GBPVR 1.3.11). The problem is independent of the video decoder (broken on both Nvidia and InterVideo). While I am able to pause TV using the EVR renderer, system performance is unacceptably slow.
Solution: To pause TV using a VMR9 renderer, uncheck "Enable Multi-Record Support" under the Misc 2 tab. Happy tv timeshifting, Max

sub Wrote:This sounds like you havent installed the patches from the '1.3.11 survival guide' thread. No, and I won't, since this patch appears to just apply to folks with >1 tuners. Aforementioned "survival guide": http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=40303 Max

Actually, it doent say >1 tuner. It just says "anyone using digital capture devices with multi-record enabled". This is also for for people with one tuner.
Quote::mad:I'm not hassling you - it just sounded like something that would have been fixed by that patch. |
