Hello,
I have the same problem. Hauppauge HVR4000, Wintv-CI, Windows XP sp3.

System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.
at NativeUtilities.BDARecorder.SetPsiParserPids(Int32 serviceID, Int32 pmtPID, Int32 videoPID, Int32 audioPID, Int32 teletextPID)

Help.

Thank.

Hi!

I'm trying to connect WINTV Ci to GBPVR version 1.4.7 without any success.
The OS is Vista x64.

Without CI-module free channels are ok. Ci/CAM module works under WINTV version 7.

When trying to map channels to EPG the following message appear:

GB-PVR was unable to start the BDA device you have configured. Check the device is configured properly, and not already in use.

Please find attached log files during an attempt to map digital channels to EPG channels with the common interface CI/CAM selected.

Help to get this running would be greatly appreciated!

Do you have a "c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\WinTVCI.dll" file?

No, but I have a hcwwintvci.dll placed in c:/propgram files (x86)/devnz/gpvr.

The same result occurs. And its not possible to watch free channels either.

The first logs were maybe without hcwwintv.dll in gbpvr directory. So I attach the logs from an experiment with the hcwwintvci-file in place.

Thanks.

Can you create the c:\temp\psi.log as described on the previous page, then zip and attach it.

I was raised on unix and swapped the sparcstation for a pc late in life. And then I felt too old to learn again and the Microsoft way of doing things appeared at that time to be totally insane. Nonetheless, here I am trying to learn how to edit the registry.

Using regedit, I produced the following:

Could this be correct by any chance? Excuse the swedish UI.

Unfortunately, I don't get any psi.log file on the computer.

What to do?

Did you create the c:\temp directory? If not, a file will not get created.

Yes I did, and one C:tmp\, just in case..

Did the registry look ok? Should it be =2 hex or decimal?
