It sounds like you either dont have an MPEG2 video decoder, or need select a different one than the currently selected one.

That info comes from the Electronic Program Guide source. Tell us where you get your EPG info and check there first. If it doesn't have the info, there are tools that will supplement the EPG.

Hi,
I had some initial issues with the guide also. A good place to start is the wiki entry for the EPG. http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Manual/EPG

Is there some reason you are not using MC2XML or Schedules Direct? They both provide good data. If you need to stick with msn_xmltv_scraper, start off by checking the XML file it produces and see what data it has. If it has no description data, then the problem is with your scraper or what's being scraped.

That's the default setup. you can change it in GBPVR’s config.xml file. The setting in config.xml is <TVGuideChannelHeaderType>
The available options are:
0 = icon + name 1 = number + name 2 = name 3 = app decides which to use based on the number of channels with icons available.

You need to put the logo/icon you want displayed into the media\ChannelLogos directory as an image file named with the name of the channel.

I don't think its documented but you can also use 4 = Icon + Channel Number
There is more info here:- http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Manual/ChannelLogos
