New user problem

I installed GB-PVR and it seemed to work the first time it booted up. However I had to restart the system and now whenever I try live TV or use the guide I get the following error message

'Failed to communicate with the GBPVR recording service" the it goes on to suggest I reboot however rebooting does not solved the problem. I am using a Hauppauge USB2 Tuner card however I also have a Hauppague 250 installed the same machine but I did not confirgure the 250 device. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

hmm, I have been using the 250 and just got a usb2 and my 250 still works but GBPVR wont see my usb2. I wonder if they can co-exist

There is a known bug which causes the PVR USB2 to not be detected when you tick the 'only show devices detected in this machine' checkbox. Just ignore this and setup the capture source anyway.

Both your PVR250 and USB2 capture sources need to set as device #1.
